Servicing and restoration for mechanical watches, by two watchmakers in a quiet studio above Duxton Road.

Close-up of a vintage chronograph movement: brass wheels, steel levers and ruby jewels inside a worn steel case.

What we do.

Prices are where a job starts. You get a written quote before any work begins.

  • Full service

For a mechanical watch that tells the time, with or without a date. Complete strip-down, cleaning, new gaskets and mainspring where needed, lubrication and regulation.

    From S$380

  • Chronograph service

The same full service, plus the chronograph works: column wheel or cam, clutch, resets, all adjusted so the hands start, stop and return cleanly.

    From S$580

  • Vintage restoration

For older pieces that need parts sourced, made or repaired. We open it, tell you honestly what it needs, and only then quote.

    By quote

  • Quartz service

Battery, circuit and coil check, movement cleaning, new gaskets, and a pressure test before it goes back to you.

    From S$120

  • Crystal and crown

Sapphire and acrylic crystals, crowns and stems, matched to the original case. Priced by the part once we have the reference.

    By part

  • Pressure test

A dry pressure test to the depth the case is rated for. Worth doing once a year if you swim with it.

    S$40

  • Polishing

Only when you ask. Original case lines matter, especially on vintage pieces, so by default we clean rather than polish.

    On request

  • Straps

Leather, rubber and fabric straps, sized and fitted while you wait. Bring the watch so we can match the lug width.

    From S$90

A full service, in five steps.

  1. Disassembled.

The movement comes apart completely, down to the smallest screw. Every part is looked at under the loupe.

  2. Cleaned.

Parts go through an ultrasonic cleaning cycle and are dried. From here on they are touched only with tweezers.

  3. Measured.

Pivots, jewels and the mainspring are checked against tolerance. Anything worn is replaced with the correct part, never forced to fit.

  4. Regulated.

Reassembled with the right oil at each point, then timed in six positions until rate and amplitude are where they should be.

  5. Tested.

Cased, pressure-tested, then run and checked every day for five days before we call you to collect it.

Before you visit.

Bring what came with it.

The watch, plus the box, papers or old service receipts if you have them. They help us find the right parts first time.

Estimates are free.

We open the caseback with you there, look properly, and send a written quote within two working days. No obligation.

Allow three to six weeks.

That is typical for a full service. Quartz work is often ready within the week. If parts will take longer, we say so up front.

Two years of cover.

Every service carries a 24-month warranty on the work we did. Knocks, drops and water through an unscrewed crown aren't covered.

Book an appointment.

Tell us about the watch. We reply within one working day to find a time that suits you.

We use your details only to arrange this appointment.
